Harry will hold his 2nd workday for his Eagle Scout Leadership Project tomorrow, November 21st @ noon behind Unity Presbyterian Church.
The workday will begin with a pizza meal during the project meeting and safety meeting and Harry needs you to sign up below if you’re going to be able to attend so that he buys enough pizza for everyone.
Harry asks that you wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on as the majority of tomorrow’s work will be painting the parking spaces, new half court basketball area and a four-square game area. They will also be putting two new benches in place and erecting the new basketball goal

It is time for the members of Troop 108 to recharter for the upcoming year. The annual cost of rechartering for our scouts is $50 and can be paid online using the link below (paypal fee will be added) or in person at upcoming meetings. The total fee of $50 per scout must be paid by the troop’s Court of Honor on December14th, 2015
The troop will no longer front the fee to recharter scouts, so scouts who have not paid their recharter fee by the end of the Court of Honor will not be signed up as a member of the troop for 2016.
Scout 2016 Recharter Fee
Scout 2016 Recharter Fee of $50

With so many scouts and leaders away at Rail Camp this coming weekend the troop really needs the help of the rest of the troop and parents to pick up food contributed by the residents of the Whiteville Park neighborhood.
We will gather at the church at 9am on Saturday and should be done by around 11am.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Scouts should arrive at the church no later than 5PM on Friday, November 13th, 2015 to load the trailer and prepare for departure.
We will be returning at about 11AM on Sunday, November 15th, 2015 to the parking lot of the US Post Office across the street from the church.
Reminders for Scouts:
- Bring money to purchase your supper on the way to the camp out on Friday evening and for breakfast on the way back on Sunday morning.
- The daytime hours should be brisk and nice but the nights will be clear and cold, so be prepared for cold weather camping.
Scoutmaster says our Scouting For Food bag distribution is still on for today at 2pm. We had hoped for better weather but will have to just be more careful in bag placement to keep them as dry as posible.

Harry’s Eagle Scout Leadership project will go on as planned whether it is sunny or raining on Saturday.
The project is multi-faceted and there are several aspects that can actually be completed if it is drizzling rain. Likewise, there are other parts and pieces that can only be completed when it is completely dry.
Harry will kick off his project with a pizza lunch and a project and safety meeting at noon behind Unity Presbyterian Church.
Thanks in advance for your assistance with Harry’s project.

Since Saturday morning is supposed to be very wet and we’re planning to distribute paper bags for Scouting for Food, we thought it would be a better idea to delay our planned bag placement activity until Sunday afternoon at 2pm. This will allow the environment to dry out and for us to put bags in the hands of the public that will actually hold their donations.
We look forward to seeing you all at Unity Church at 2pm on Sunday afternoon.

Don’t forget that the Scouting For Food bag distribution is this coming Saturday, November 7th @ 9am. Meet in the church parking lot and we will fan out and place bags in the Whiteville Park neighborhood (behind the church).
Scouts and leaders not going on the Rail Camp outing are planning to gather the filled bags from the neighborhood on November 14th, 2015 and take items collected to the Fort Mill Care Center. Meet at the church parking lot at 9am to help collect.
