Leadership

No organization can run well without good leadership.   This is especially true of a Boy Scout troop that is being run as Baden-Powell intended – by the boys themselves.

Troop 108 is blessed to have an active group of adult leaders to assist with transportation and guidance for our troop’s youth leaders.   Our Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) is elected, by the youth members, from a group of Scoutmaster approved boys twice a year.  

When a new SPL is elected, he chooses two more older youth members of the troop who have some leadership experience and some council-level leadership training to help him as the Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders (ASPL).
